The "Jamei"

Is the brainchild of James Vladyka of Fishounds Outdoors and Scott Brauer of Makiplastic Inc. All good baits start with a sketch on a napkin and this one was no exception. James said what about the Mousi body with twin tails and the mold was cut. After the first prototypes were made and fished the Jamei was good but not good enough. So Maki added the side whiskers to slow the fall rate and give the bait more stability and control in the water. The mold was recut and the rest is history. This bait is a collaboration of passion, the passion of a great guide and the passion of a bait manufacturer, proving that two heads (or tails) are better than one.
